I think the front end of the first l322 is looking dated. That square front end doesn't do much for me. The rest of it is timeless though! Still love the cars and feel it's as modern to drive as any car produced today.

the L322 has an iconic shape, everything else is a typical euro box.... ... - .- -.

Some electric cars are 💩

Teslas aren't...... how can a car with a "ludicrously fast" mode be 💩

IMHO the l322 has a good shape, but it was designed in the 1990's so it will inevitably look a bit old. When you put it against the 405 there is a step in a different direction. Better external design? Well that is a matter of opinion. It's gone a bit "jelly mould" and that may be good for fuel consumption but I'm not sure there was much imagination in the design!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Well, I went from a supercharged L322 to a SDV8 L405 and a lot of days I wish I hadn't Rolling Eyes

The L405 is a sublime car for sure but I'm still not convinced I did the right thing. Set teh engine thing aside, the L405 feels like a car but the L322 feels like a Range Rover.

Beauty as always is in the eye of the beholder and I for one think the L322 is a magnificent looking machine.

So much so that I recently took off the supercharged grill and side vents that the previous owner had fitted and put on the original grill and vents and it just looked right.

I changed my old l322 back to original too... any attempt to make it look newer cheapen it massively!

Australia 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Adriatic Blue

When we were on holiday in the UK 2 years ago, my wife and I both remarked on the number of L322 around vs the number of P38A. We both thought the rear end of the L322 didn't look as good at the P38A's.

Re the latest RRS, L405, Discovery Sport, and D5, they all look the same and are not that attractive in my opinion. Ron B. VK2OTC

It may well be the case that L322's are looking a bit mature compared to a lot of modern cars but I tend to think the look goes well with some of us who also look a bit similarly mature.

I've got a 2004 plate with the square lights /grill...currently renewing lots on it but I'm definitely not facelifting it as personally like the way it looks..

kinda not surprised Dom, there arnt enough knobs , switches and dials in the L405 and everyone knows you get satisfaction playing with turning a knob.. ... - .- -.

Thats a great looking rig. I do like RR with side runners.

Where I am, despite modern cars, the L322 looks great and has great presence on the road (what roads we have Lol) so when in the UK was quite shocked how aged they look. Agree they have a great shape but some look so old from the front.
