I have 18's on mine and think I will probably stick with them as the country roads I mainly drive on are pot holed. I wonder if the lower profile tyres give the suspension ball joints and bushes a harder time ? |

For your purposes I would recomend 18" with slightly oversized General Grabber AT's , not much is going to stop you then and very hard wearing . 2008 MY Supercharged

I have never run 18" so not sure but some one who does will be along soon but at a guess say 255/18/55 if that is even a proper size . 2008 MY Supercharged

I have 265/60/18s (with Compomotive rims) as they are a pretty common tyre on several Japanese 4WDs.

It seems to be pointing that way, I have 20" at the moment.

rar110, the difference between 265/60/18 and 255/60/18 is 10 mm in width and 6mm in height... your tyres are 6mm or 1/4" bigger... sod all in the grand scheme of things, and if Jap sizes are easier to get over there, stick with'em |

Thanks for all the suggestions and input. I think I'll go with 18" and look for a full set with decent tyres, the 20" I have on now I'll try and move on once done.
