Could be the FSR at fault. My fans would run for a minute or so then turn themselves off.

I have the original one here which I replaced only to find it was ok. Happy to help you change it to try. I'm near Welwyn so quite close to you. Send me a PM if you want to try. |

Just to follow up - Coconut came over and I replaced his FSR with mine. It looks like the one I'd removed from mine was a replacement anyway! His original one was a little different. The heat sink rods were fewer and thicker, the casing was metal not plastic and the body was a little thicker. The replacement went in OK but was a little loose in place - still locked in with the tab but not really tight. Anyway, it worked fine. |
