Yes it's a festoon bulb. 5W size 11mm x 35mm.

There is a useful lookup tool on the Osram website.

Says they are error free but also says they can cause issues in sensitive cars? Has anybody tried them yet..I've changed all interior to leds then sidelights. I'm wanting to do something with the reverse and number plate ones next Thumbs Up

I thought those were the reversing light bulbs?

I fitted these number plate lights, bit of a tight fit but no issues.

Off the top of my head I think I put 2 in the footwells, 2 in the numberplate lights and one in the rear right loading loading space (boot).

I put these every where else.

Just the puddle lights in the door mirrors to do which seem to cause a bit of a problem.

Sorry, I read that wrong, 6 led's on each I think, I'll check and let you know if they were different but I'm 99.9% sure they were 6.

There are quite a lot of options for bulbs. I have recently replaced the following.

I've included pictures because eventually the eBay links will expire and there is nothing more annoying that seeing a useful post but not being able to see what's being referred to!

Number plate bulbs. These are originally 5w festoon bulbs, 35mm long
I used the following. A good upgrade and fit easily. No warning messages (but I checked and no warnings when no bulbs at all, so clearly not being monitored).

Reversing light bulbs. These are originally 434 / BAx9S 5w filament bulbs with offset pins.
I used the following. They are quite a bit brighter than the originals (though that's not hard). Again, no warning messages.
Others have had good success with SMD panels, but this requires that the light fitting is split open. Apparently not hard and gives a very good light.
The ones I've used just about fit within the fitting without having to split it open. They could do with being 1mm shorter - as they are you can't turn the bulb holder to lock it into place, but once the light fitting is back on the car, it's held in place nicely anyway.

Hope that helps. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

My foot well lamps are T5's (capless) not festoon, the only festoon bulbs that I have come across are the number plate lamps Rolling Eyes Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
