Don't want to add to your troubles, but have you checked the rear box in the boot, where the radio / tv / navi live? Only water in there can cause all sorts of trouble... My car was doing some really weird things and draining the battery.. it turns out that the dsp doesn't like sitting in an inch and a half of water  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Yes checked that when checking the fuses and aw good.
Another local garage cant do it
Can see and find body module but then it stops.
Im no haiving much joy from RSW as the tool I have just want to play.

Did you get this sorted yet, I've got exactly the same problem with my fatty which went flat a couple of weeks ago.

Like you I've checked all the fuses, re programmed the keys, disconnected the battery a couple of times all with no luck.

How do you get the transport mode message do I need a device to see that?

Looks like it's gonna be time to splash out on an IIDTool to me.

Sorry for late reply but had a problem with RSW comms.
Basically.
Prob started on a Thurs. weekend?
My e mail had changed so had to prove I had previously bought a unit.
2 LONG weeks for delivery.
(Pigeon post)
Anyways, once received I plugged it in and within 5 mins sorted.
Found the car, ID'd the transport mode and 'click'
Job done.
All back to normal.
I still think I have an issue with the eci unit as the alarm still goes off in occasions.
The indicators sometimes flash FAST as if a bulb gone.
No bulb gone and only when o/s temp drops.
Strange.
