Not that difficult. It's underneath the r/h cylinder head when looking at the engine from the front.

Mark a spot on the bolt positions, as it's easy to bolt it in wrong. Also, take care to add some RTV, on the o ring, as it often leaks. Don't strip a thread, whole lower timing case will be required if you do. It's heavy, don't bash your rad. The fan nut get hit to the right, catch it with a thick gloved hand, so it also doesn't ruin your rad.. it can be fiddly trying to screw the fan back on. Take your time. |
