Is remote heat also remote cool?

I know you can program the timer for the cooling to come on at a certain time, but can you also use the remote fob for the heater to do it?

There is nothing I can see in the manual, but if you look in a Webasto manual, it gets mentioned. Not sure if the RR has remote cool..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

On the home screen you can go timed climate then timed cool I think.
So maybe with the right combination of buttons the remote can activate.

In this weather I'm also using the long press to unlock which opens all windows and sunroof.

. Cheers, Greg

I'm also using the long press to open all windows/sunroof but does anyone know (perhaps via IID tool) whether you can just have it opening the windows.

pretty sure the remote heating will only activate the fuel burner if the cabin temp is below a certain temp, otherwise it just activates the blower.

easy way to find out, activate it and you'll hear the burner kick in and smell it if it does turn on. Current

When programming pre cooling: Isn't it just the air blower that is turned on to "cool down" the cabin? I didn't think that the air-conditioning would operate before the engine was started?

Yes timed cooling is just running the blower. Cheers, Greg

I shall have to try it. I know it only blows the hot air out, it doesn't actually cool.

I have used the timed cooling from the screen, just thought it might come on with the fob, even though it's nothing to do with the Webasto heater..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The newer smaller T91 remotes will only do the fuel burning heater. The older style T90 remotes could do heat and cold.
As stated the air con will not work without the engine running Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

indeed, just blowing the air about, but tomorrow when it's been sat in the sun all day, I can activate it from the office so at least it's not steaming hot when I get in it to come home.

Is there a difference between a webasto remote and a L/R one?

This is the information from the user hand book, are things model year related too?

Mine only goes green for on red for off and orange when battery low as per this.

I would have thought yours was the same as mine. It came with the car....

Have you tried the change mode instructions from my image above?

I didn't think it would actually work if I'm honest, but read it in a Webasto manual I found online. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
