Went for a SE In the end, saved 10k over the AB. Taking a chance on the new style 9012 alloys, which seem to work well with dark colours. Roll on March!

Thanks for this thread - it has really got me thinking. I have a MY18 AB on order and went and specced a Vogue with the £8k of options I actually want and have saved myself £14k - I am going to change the order with the dealer tomorrow!

I am going to spend £3k having the dash, doors and binnacle surrounds covered in premium leather by Auto Audio and will have a better than AB car for £11k less.

PP Have you considered a black contrast roof? I wish I had done it with mine and it will go great with black wheels. I also recall from reading somewhere that it means an extra coat of paint on the main body.

Pixelpower might be worth adding the extra-large washer bottle, save a couple of fill ups on those frosty winter mornings.
