Had mine replaced in an 2007. Can ask the mechanic on monday how much suspension , etc he removed if that helps. 2015 4.4 AB

Dolph34 please do ask, it would really help me a lot, from what i have seen its not necessary to completely remove the subframe, but it does need to drop a max of 40mm which will allow one to get to the module for removal, still not a simple task for a DIY project, I think.. Thank you.. |

I know when i had my problem there was an option on the iid tool to reset / rehook the module. Might be worth a try. 2015 4.4 AB

Nope, my diagnostic unit can reset the amber warning light, but the red flashing light with the message PARK BRAKE OFF does not reflect as a Diagnostic error. I have attached a pic showing the message, the date is wrong on the screen as i had performed a battery reset and have not bothered updating date and time just yet..

Right so I received a PM from member pk7976 last night given a similar fault to mine, and while I did reply to the PM it seems to be hanging in the outbox instead of the sent folder, so I am hoping that pk can pick up this feeback here..
