Our is a black car with Atlas side vents. Wondering whether to change them to black?

Ours has the 22” sparks alloys as in these two illustration images.

Very helpful Alistair thanks. That’s a great pictorial change. From A to C your transformation looks brilliant (the privacy glass especially).

Was going to buy turbine alloys. Showed Mrs pld a set on an otherwise identical car recently (likes sparkles for now). Also prefers the Atlas vents. I like them too although think black looks tasteful and wonder if Atlas date (or will date) the car, accepting that they all date eventually.

Well, the consensus on the forum is currently 75% in favour of black (colour coded) vents. The overwhelming consensus of those who know the car is to keep the Atlas vents. I shall buy a set of Santorini black side vents. Options!

The “vent” serves no purpose and to my eyes, it doesn’t fit in with the rest of the car; it looks a lot better colour keyed with the rest of the car and effectively disguised.

At least the horizontal silver section emphasises the length of the car, rather than the height (it was Harley Earl that first pointed out the “oblongs always look better than squares”!)

The illustration picture used at the start of this thread doesn't do the Atlas justice.

Atlas can still be configured on new models (think the new vents have 4 as opposed to 3 fins).

I think you've answered your own question then.
The poll result up to now suggests you are with the 25%. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference.

The SVA vents look very smart IMHO. But only when body coloured. The chrome strikes look fabulous.

The Atlas voters are increasing in number. Might see a 50/50 split at this rate

Well, after much deliberating, finally ordered a pair of genuine LR Santorini black side vents, so we'll see how they compare when they arrive...

excellent choice you wont be dissapointed  Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

Does anyone please know what shape 'side vent trim clips' to buy/ who from on eBay sells the right ones so I can order some tonight, in case any break?
