Hi CMJ - I didn't have any luck trying to explain it to the parts guy I spoke to I'm afraid. He didn't really want to know as I said it was for RR and not BMW - My fault really.

Do you have BMW PN's for the 6 and 3 pin plugs? If not, both of these can work. They're short adapter looms for the CD changer:
