I don't recall seeing anything like that when I did the bushes on the rear of my L322.
You might want to check the bushes - see the pics in my post here: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic13469-15.html Ron B. VK2OTC 2003 L322 V8 Auto 2007 Yamaha XJR1300 Previous: 1983, 1986 RRC; 1995, 1996 P38A; 1995 Disco1; 1984 V8 County 110; Series IIA |

If it's a wheel bearing, you'll have the same play when you try rocking it top and bottom. Try it. Ron B. VK2OTC

Could well be a bearing looking at the state of the inside of the rim. That's had a fair old wack at some point. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

I don't think it's a wheel bearing, the backplate is moving, too. If it was a wheel bearing, the backplate wouldn't move. Ron B. VK2OTC

when you apply the brakes there is a loud pop, this happens going forward or in reverse..........It definitely sounded like it was coming from the passenger side right rear. |

I've got the toe control arm off, well at least at tapered ball joint which was very sloppy. The other end i'm dealing with a seized bolt that I need to cut. Hopefully I will tackle this tomorrow. |

I had to cut through the bolt either side of the arm with an air hacksaw but it took a while, a 1 mm cut of disc might have been better but I was concerned about how close to the petrol tank I was |

Well replaced the toe control arm (require Saw-zall to get that upper bolt out) and the upper hub bushes, still getting the loud popping sound when braking. I'm just going to take it to a shop as I have other hobbies I want to do. Last edited by Kingstang on 26th May 2018 4:03am. Edited 1 time in total |
