Digital TV upgrade (again!)

Hi All,
I have a 2005 L322 and have just purchased what I was told was a direct replacement for my old analogue tuner unit.

It has all plug and play sockets save a small blue 2 pin one?

Everything works, as it should until you turn on the ignition...presumably an issue with the TV in motion inhibitor I guess?

Is there a simple fix to get around this issue? Or am I destined to only be able to view the TV with the engine off!!!

Your assistance is greatly appreciated in advance! Rolling Eyes

You need to make sure the handbrake is on and not in gear (although neutral seems to work). You should still get the sound, though, when running with a warning on the screen.

Hi,

Thanks...as I said above, the unit works with sound and picture without ignition on.
The problem is when you start the engine...as it then displays the warning page regarding driving whilst in motion?

This is what I need to overcome and have the ability to watch with engine running, but not driving? 🤔

I do understand - there may be a problem with the handbrake sensor by the sounds of things. I would have thought you can test that by making sure the handbrake light comes on when you apply. Goodness knows otherwise...

try the 753 hack but i think you may have to do this every time you turn the engine off
