My FFRR has autofold wing mirrors and recently the driver's side mirror has taken to making some strange noises when it folds. It could be that some lubrication is all that is required but i cannot see a way to get into the housing to squirt some WD40 or silicone lubricant inside. My driver's side door mirror has started juddering when opening/closing and sometimes only goes half way

Fold the mirror forward, this exposes the arc an internal workings. Squirt lubricant in there.

There is a thread somewhere on here giving fuller details. But the above process worked for me.

I had this, the link to my post follows. An easy fix, just use the correct lubricant and do it every six months or so.
