did battery disconnect and touch the + - cables. this is what I have now :

started the car number of times, drove for 1/2 hour it is holding steady.

Thats want you want to see Nino , however according to LR the alternator gives its max charge on deceleration, does your alternator amps increase during deceleration ? 2015 4.4 AB

Mike, unfortunately I was unable to make update work. I remain with tested values only. As per Pat's instruction I connected module to computer and pair it with phone app which then opens in a bootloader mode. pres bootloader arrow and it downloads some files but to no avail. I even reinstalled app on all four of my devices (galaxy s5, 7, 8, notebook) no luck.

Nino & John,
I have given up on trying to update my iid.
My laptop is not very good and I rarely use it these days, preferring to use my iPad.
These are the readings with the old battery before I buy a new one.

A friend has offered to help me lift the old one out etc, so I will start looking for one.
Any tips re- changing it ??

Hi Mike , i think the bonnet needs to be in service / access mode and then it's straight forward enough.

.this is what I did Mike, haveing to change batery by my self and okvard position of batery plus waight thare is big chance of f g ones back. so I divised litel helper :

I removed cabin air filter housing first( more room to move around), then remove cable ties circle in red and two bolts holding cable harness cover I was able to swing CU without disconnecting it.( 4.4 TDV8 CU has no cooling fan on the beck.) with this CU can be sving out of the way and bateri is ready to be removed. Pictures tell the story:
