Air Susp. Inactiv, no lights on the console

Hi,

My L322 air suspension is playing up. The car holds height and after clearing code the suspension returned and worked fine. about a week later the same error appears again.

This time the AA man's ID Tool read the fault as

"118 Air suspension pressure accumulator Pressure drop on filling"

Once he cleared the code the air suspension worked. I raised her to off road mode and she held, dropped it down low and raised it back up again. No sound of air escaping from the bags.

Any suggestions?

Hi Stan,

That sounds like a good problem (ie one I could fix) how would I check that?

this relates to the suspension being stuck in off road height but it can also possibly be your problem,

What is your reservoir pressure like?

Check regularly if you have the kit to test it. .

I'm getting a tool at the weekend so that I can monitor it and try and figure it out.

I'm struggling with the same fault. Mine's stuck in Off Road height with system shut off after having burst a front airbag... The good news is that it's holding its height now

Is there anyone in/around West Mids with IID tool that can help me with re-calibration?

We were trying to check the suspension so went to Off road height and the bag burst. I then replaced the air bag but on standard height on the control panel the car is still sitting at off road height. After a short drive the system has read abnormal heights and gone into hard fault shut down.

Update: following the code clear yesterday the car has been perfect. I did about 130 miles today and it slipped seamlessly in and out of motorway mode. I had to put it to access mode in a multi-storey car park and it managed that no problems.

Hopefully all is good now!

Hmm this error has reappeared after two months of perfect driving. Cleared but it seems to be reappearing instantly I’ll have to investigate further tomorrow

Air bag on the other side, or other axle ?
Other options: height sensors, compressor, reservoir, valves, pipes Embarassed .

Airbags seem fine as it is maintaining pressure. I think it’s a reservoir issue.
