Has anyone had issues with steering going quite heavy.
No bong and I haven’t checked the fault codes yet but it seems suddenly very different

Apart from checking the TPs which I presume you've already done , worn tyres can cause heavy steering after that fluid level in the reservoir , after that fluid condition ,
Is the steering notchy , check for leaks from the pipe work and check track rods ends could be seizing up

Faulty BCM (body control module) - situated under passenger seat - can cause heavy steering. Do u have one or two doors with intermittent locking/unlocking problems? Then this needs changing

Can this just be cleared using tool are does it require replacement?

Don’t think it can be cleared, it needs replacing. It’s an easy enough 1/2 hr-1hr job (write up on wiki http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic40009.html

It’s around £224 for a new one. There are several updated ones, can’t remember the part number but u want the latest one. Ask dan at duckworths on here (site sponsor).
