United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Orkney Grey

Thanks all. Great help. Thumbs Up

I too have now paired successfully. Really good to get into a warm car this morning after my night shift.

Mine is a 2013 model, and if it helps anyone in the future reading this thread, I can confirm it’s the same fuse JCW pulled in his 2014.

Thanks again everyone.

Mines a MY14 and it was fuse 1 (5a) in the fuse box behind the glovebox, method as already described. Paired first time, my fob is exactly per the one pictured above.

So although there is a 20a fuse in the rear luggage compartment area (described as Fuel Fired Booster Heater in the handbook) I presume removing it doesn't disable power to the FBH receiver, as required for the pairing procedure.

New to the L405 and haven’t got the book with me, how do I access the fuse panel in the front passenger footwell?

I don’t know where the unhinged tabs are and I don’t want to force anything

Yes mate Thumbs Up
I had a lump of foam covering the fuse panel when I managed to drop the lower glove box

Can’t get my Eberspacher remote to pair yet. I’ll have another go tomorrow.

Hi Guys.

Sorry to bring this thread up again. Rolling Eyes

I have recently bought a 2013 L405 Autobiography which does have on the build sheet it has remote timed fuel burning heater etc.

Anyway I haven't got the vehicle yet it will be Tuesday when I pick her up.

I asked when I went to see it where is the remote for the diesel heater and he didn't have one so I guess the owner kept it.

But hey on a plus he did have a remote spare at his site and said he would leave it in the vehicle but I would just need to get it programmed.

I understand how to program it thanks to you brilliant guys but not sure if the remote is suitable to my vehicle?

Here is the picture of it.

Is this compatible with the L405 or do I need the newer style?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys Thumbs Up

Ross.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Hi all,

Sorry to revive this thread. I've got a 4.4 V8 diesel (2014) with the FBH. I know it works because I've tried the timed climate setting on the screen.

I've got a fob from a 2020 Autobiography (its the T91r with the heater symbol instead of 'off').

My questions are:
On a 2014 Autobiography is it definitely the 20A fuse in the boot?

Just because the car has FBH does it definitely have the remote functionality?

Is the T91r compatible?

The fob just flashes about 8 or so times when I press on or off, I can't seem to get the fob to want to pair to a new receiver.

Likely to be fuse 1 (5amp) in the fuse box behind the glovebox (based on my experience of an MY14 L405).

Hiya,

I’ve also tried that one. The symbol for that fuse suggests it’s some sort of vehicle receiver as it shows a car with air waves going through it but I still get the same result there. If a fob is already paired with another vehicle is it the same procedure do you know?

It’s the fuse for the Telestart fbh receiver, sounds like that’s the right fuse.

Yes same procedure - may be the fob you’re using in which case, not sure if an MY20 will be compatible, can you add a photo? Should look like this

Sure no problem. Photo attached.

I know the fob works because it was working on the 2020 car it came from for sure.

I’ve even tried taking both fuses out and same result

That looks like an older MY fob to me.
