Replacing the wiper mechanism.

Is this an easy job?

Something snapped in mine today and I need to replace the whole lot apparently!

Must be the time of year Sad mine broke at the bottom of the passenger side arm just before Christmas.
It took a specialist 2 hours to replace the entire mechanism.

If it's the linkage arm it depends if it's actually broken or just dropped off the knuckle, if it's intact you can swap it so opposite ends are now on the knuckles. Did mine 12 months ago. 2011 (MY12) 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

Hope this helps you Fella

Did both our cars last summer ( just in case ready for winter ) - takes about 1 hour.
You do need to puller to take off the wiper blade arms - when you re install INSURE YOU PUT GREASE ON THE TREADS - LR factory did not put grease on the spindles - Aluminum & Steel will bind over time !
Take your time when putting the wiper arms back on - threads are thin and you can strip them if your not careful.

The cars are 12 year plates and wipers are so important - especially in the winter - its worth replacing these every 5 years before they pack up - don't want them packing up on a airport run !
