Nothing hard just plan your wiring and follow the step by steps

Apologies for being a bit dense, but does this only require a power lead, and it plays music via FM?

yup - has an FM transmitter - tune your FM radio to it - FM transmitters are so much better than they used to be

I use one of these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FKL2WVX/ref...zCbB1BHQJ7

and blue tooth my iphone through it - BBC Sounds, Tunein and existing tunes on phone - works really well

Ive plugged an iphone and an ipod in to the aux in the rear but found the volume at the head unit needed to be turned right up to hear either ?

@DaveK: Yes this is normal with FFRR AUX In (at least in mine). I use DAB+ unit over FM transmitter as shown above. Works fine and volume level and sound quality is good.

This is the one I have bought:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07BTN...&psc=1

With the bonus that this unit will also play MP3 music files from a Micro SD card.

The volume on this one is fine as loud as you want and adjustment works thro your steering wheel when used thro the aux input Thumbs Up
