LR029140 coolant hose 4.4 TDV8

Hi
I've managed to snap off the thin plastic pipe of my coolant hose LR029140 on our 4.4 TDV8. Does anyone have one of these they don't need and are selling cheap as I only need a bit of it.

Thanks

It's an easy one to snap, quite a few people have repaired theirs with a stent.

. Cheers, Greg

I tried fixing it with some glue and that lasted less than 5 seconds. It's about £85 for the new pipe and I only want that plastic bit. I might have to bit the bullet but will only change the little bit I need and not faff about with the other pipes.

Thanks

There is a repair posted on here by, IIRC, by JCW. As GGDR says, it's a stent repair.

If you need a new part it's £80+ and I suspect anyone here will keep the bit if they have it as a safeguard. Cheers

That's great. i'm going to have a go at that. Out of interest I've looked on ebay for a female to female coax connector but cant find one. Is it a hard to find bit?

I've just ordered a connector from ebay. 99p delivered, great. My sort of price range.!!! Will report back once I've done it. Getting the blasted thing to even run was a mission but it sounds pretty good for 143K!!!!
