L405 Snow chains - can they go on the front?

Hi all, a little help please. I'm preparing for an Alps trip next week so I thought I'd test fit my new snow chains. Seems to me there is no room on the front between the suspension and the tyre. The back is OK. Is it just the make of chains I bought or as this thread indicates, it is in fact not possible to fit chains to the front on the L405? (See photo)

Thanks

For the L405 I have them for all 4 - I have Thule K-summit xxl’s

They have nothing around the back so fit all round.

That said, I’d be extremely surprised if you needed them this time of year, so unless you already have them, I’d probably go with socks.

I’ve been on manny many ski trips and spent the last 2 full seasons skiing and never had to actually fit them (I do have winter tyres though)

Thanks. My 3rd set for 3 different cars. Never needed any of them. But there's going to be the first time when the law says - no further without chains.
