Yes another one of these.

So I've been an owner for all of 3 weeks and steadily racking up and addressing all the common faults with these models.

The latest one:

I've noticed a 'chirping' from the engine when accelerating which I assumed was a boost- related problem. Wasn't very that noticeable until I got a Quantum remap on Wed. After this, the chirping is more pronounced but not had a lot of time to get a good look at it. So we've travelled down to Glasgow last night (missus off to Take That concert 🙄) and there were several instances of engine fault and no power. Quick reset and continue on. Did it maybe half dozen times as I nursed her down the road.

Checked the engine bay and immediately saw the culprit - the OS elbow had oil all over it and some electrical tape hanging off 🙄. Taped it up with self vulcanising tape and it should hold okay until I get some replacement silicone hoses.

Anyhoo, it no longer throws the fault but the whistling chirping noise is even louder... So I'm thinking there might be another split pipe. Has this happened before on these?

Turned out the repair wasn't holding the pressure so I ordered a silicone hose set. Hose set came and didn't have the 90' elbows included Censored so have ordered some generic Elbows Rolling Eyes
