Cooled seat question.

Morning,

How much air should we expect from the cooled front seats? mine doesn't seem to change with either of the 3 settings of whatever i set the climate to!

Does anybody have any advice please?

Thanks

Interested in this too as have been underwhelmed by my L405's cooled seats after coming from the L322. Current: RR L322 2010

Mines a 2017 also, as you say very underwhelming and there appears to be just one effect from the 3 settings!

put a feather or something else which is very light onto the seat and go through the settings...you should get an idea if setting 1 is the same as setting 3... ... - .- -.

To Stan's point, I learnt a few years back of a builder the best way to test extractor fans:

A tissue.

It's a great way of 'seeing' air flow. On the cooled seats, I'd go single ply.

I too have been underwhelmed by the cooled seats in the 405 compared to the 322. I’ll try the tissue test.

I find mine to be comfortable usually on one or two.... it’s a gentle cooling rather than a blast , better on a long journey Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Are you running the a/c on LOW?
Not only should you be very aware of the feeling of cool air coming through the perforated seat leather, but you should also be able to hear the fans.

I can hear the fans on my seats, but agree with the others that the 'cooling' sensation is practically nonexistent on the max setting. The cabin AC works great - ice cold.

I assumed the cooled seats got their cooled air supply from the main cabin AC and that a fan on the seat just helped circulate it. Is that the case or do the seats have their own little cooler unit (like the one used in the center console cooler box?) 2021 P525 | Eiger Gray

I believe the air is cooler if you have the AC on and just normal outside (cold) air if you don't. 1994 Range Rover LSE Autobiography
