Does the air box for the pollen filter come out easily, in a similar way to the L322 ?…… it might reveal an existing grommet hole ?

If what you are wiring is only for the duration of you owning the car it's usually possible to get the cable to the front passenger door opening from the engine bay and then tape the cable to the body above the top hinge, lift the inner door seal and run the cable over the seal mounting flange and into the car that way.

Does the L405 differ from the L322 insomuch as access from the engine bay?

its a lot different..the battery is in the boot for a start and there doesnt seem to be any obvious route's into the cabin... ... - .- -.

What about near the steering wheel connection into the cabin it seems to run through a rubber boot through the bulkhead you might be able to squeeze it through that way ! |
