Sorry to hear of your troubles, I have not had anything similar on my car. As you say its on AU so warranty should pick up the tab.

And so, stuff fixed, I decided that instead of the 100 mile round trip to the stealer, it was time to hop over to France to stock up on Christmas essentials (wine).
