I'm wondering if I have a similar issue mentioned in this thread. When I pull away turning left or right but more noticeably left its as though the car is using traction control on the rear wheels. The car has covered 49,000 miles. Full LR service from new and is currently under the landrover extended warranty scheme.

Hope for suggestions and possible costs before i book it into the dealer

I have the same symptom when pulling out of left turns, a mild thump/clonk from the back of the car, like a sort of drive shaft clonk. Not always and not overly worrying but it's there never the less.

I’m not sure that they are that problematic, it’s just that (like any car forum) this is a point for those that have had problems to gather.

That’s a very large leap of logic. We don’t know nearly enough about what the problem is, or how helpful the dealer is being. We could just as easily say that it’s proof that, whenever two or more LR owners gather, they like nothing more than having a good grumble Wink

Any non-franchised LR workshop will be able to change the transfer case oil then initiate the transfer case clutch re-calibration.

Can the IIDTool do this re-calibration?
. Cheers, Greg

Its a diagnostic tool function but I can't recall if the IIDTool has been programmed to do it for the L322 (pretty sure its available) and don't know for the L405. I'm reminded of my request to Gap to add it to the D4 menu as it was already provided for D3s. Also like the rear diff re-calibration which wasn't on the L322 menu but I would need if I retro-fitted an e-diff, which I subsequently did.
