United Kingdom

ilard - yes, the Granada had a black vinyl roof.
Oh, & I forgot the MkI Capri 3000 GXL !
Defiantly a Ford fan in those days & at one point my works van was a MkI Transit with a 3 lt V6, complete with diesel front.

Also had a MkI Astra GTE (better & more civilised than the XR3i IMHO), a smattering of Beemers, the last being a 635i.

Last work van was a VW T5 with the 5-pot which was churning out over 200BHP & (unless you knew what you were doing) too fast for a van.

Now, I've grown up a little & waft along in a 2003 L322 Vogue with the 3lt BMW s-pot. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

You folks seen the video of the 3 door cossie barn find, less than 10,000 miles making £80 grand at auction.
Worlds gone mad. Had all the cossies when much younger, but I reckon my RS turbos MK1 and 2 were my favourites.

Fond memories of going flat out in a 4x4 cossie on the M54 (i think) coming back from a days blast around Wales. Never looked at speedo but it was going well and didn't take long to get back Whistle

The price of MK 2 escorts is also very scary nowadays Crying or Very sad

I've got an '83 XR4i tucked away which my late mother used for her local shopping trips up until she died in 2007. She loved the big Fords and drove an early seventies Zephyr Zodiac V6 prior to the XR4. Genuine 41k on the clock and totally original. Not as sought after as the Cosworth but none the less I can't imagine there's many good unrestored examples left
