Scotland 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Hi Everyone,
I’m Oz from Australia currently living in sunny, warm Scotland. This is my first FFRR and I love it!
Several members have already helped me out a massive amount with a starter motor issue which is now happily all sorted.
Looking forward to helping out where I can. There are some very clever guys on here!

Cheers Oz

Thanks for the warm welcome, I've used this username for years across many different automotive forums as I've swapped and changed cars.

You are right Mike, it is pan flat here, being a cyclist im only to aware! Still if I can make it over the trough and into the dales on my bicycle. I'm sure the motor will get there. I do love it out that way, such a beautiful place. The TDV8 has impressed me so far, its my first SUV so I've never done much driving in the command position, so far so good.

Andy

Long time lurker, first time poster

Evening all, thought it was about time I joined the forum, having visited many times recently. Took on a little project in the form of a somewhat unloved 53 plate L322 Td6. I've been working through a list of jobs, discovering and remedying as I go. No doubt you'll see me around the forums.

Hi all, newb from Edinburgh. I'm on the hunt for a cheap and cheerful L322 4.4 or 4.2 SC as a weekend car. Thankfully I don't have a commute so I can justify something V8 and a bit daft.

Currently have a Cooper S Clubsport thats off the road for a winter rebuild.

And here we go again.

My names Tim and previously the owner of a P38a 4.6 Vogue. Gave that up some years ago as decided to go down the lease car route with my company. After 9 years of Audi's S3/S4/Q5 I have bitten the bullet and just bought a 2011 facelift RR Autobiography Black 5.0 S/C. It's very clean with 1 previous owner, full S/H and 84K on the clock. Drives lovely with no knocking or any 'un-usual' sounds and she shifts.. Smile

Knowing the 'features' RR's have, I need to get some up to date advice so will start the questions shortly.

Great to be here Smile

Tim

Newbie to L322

Hi all! Spent most of my time on other forums. As I am planning to keep my FFRR v8 4.4 I thought I should sign up to a dedicated forum. Reason for "planning to keep" is that I have a low boredom threshold when it comes to vehicles which annoys my family... In-laws can't keep up with the stream of new cars each time they visit. I have a Volvo T5 as my daily, VW New Beetle as a pool car if I feel a bit transgender, it does have racing stripes and a big spoiler so not too feminine. A few classics including my 'ickle 1970 Renault R10 for those days when I just want to drive like Miss Marples!

Newbie going to take the plunge ?

Hi all, after 46 years driving and well over 100 cars owned in all that time, I am finally seriously looking to buy my first Range Rover. I've hankered after one for a couple of years but have chickened out previously and bought other vehicles. Then after a short period started thinking again - ' I wish I had bought a Range Rover instead ! '
Thing is, as I have always done 90% of my own servicing, for reasons of personal satisfaction, doing a proper job, and saving money, I shouldn't really be frightened of things going wrong...... much !
Fact is, all cars go wrong. The main difficulty is finding the right used car in the first place - one that has been well maintained.
So now I have found your wonderful Forum, I shall try and soak up as much knowledge as possible before deciding which one to go for....
