Hi, so I finally got around to changing my starter motor today that’s been sitting in the box for a few weeks now, mainly as it was taking more and more attempts to start. Anyway that all went well and it now starts on the button every time, but while I was in there I inadvertently found the coolant leak that I have been nursing for a while now.
It’s seems to be coming from the back of the engine block and dripping down onto the plastic engine sump guard/cover.
My question is, I know they can be prone to oil and coolant leaks from the oil cooler and dripping down the back of the engine. Has anyone replied a coolant leak in this area that could advise me of what was the issue, what was replaced etc

How much is it needing to be topped up?

Could it just be AC drippage from the dryer? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi, it’s not from the AC, it’s pink, it’s difficult to say how much I top it up by as I tend to check it every time I give it a wash along with screen wash etc.

There is a lot of coolant pipes running all over the engine..... it may be a case of having a poke around with a boroscope
