Yes but you know me Stan so long as it is simple to operate etc also wondered if they were more robust

expensive, given that you will probably never have to actually fit them, yes they are simple to fit but so are normal chains, there is a knack and once you have it its simple

Have a look at their polar 16mm chains, i have a set and they aren't hard to fit once you have that knack. there is a link in the other thread about tow recovery straps, just under here.... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just get normal chains, these are pricey. I buy all my mountain kit from that company and they have a wide choice.

I have 2 sets of them

I’ve never actually had to use them but I’m optimistic that this is my year

Regular chains won’t fit on the front of the L405 - the Thule ones have nothing around the back - and they are clear of the rims with 22’s

I know the manual says you only need one set, but if I have to stop to fit them, I’m making sure I get there

I’m fairly sure someone was selling a set on here not too long ago
