Been thinking about Turbo drain mod.
Does having the mod done just get round worn turbo seals?
Would changing turbo cure oil passover?
Have been quoted £300 for turbo rebuild which might get round problem.
views would be appreciated. 2017 sdv8 4.4 vogue

The drain reduces oil build up in the turbo. Hard to answer your question because it’s a bit chicken and egg I think.
excess oil could be the visible symptom in either fault. Ideally you might do both?

Interested to know about remove and replace because that turbo is buried, you can even see it even on a ramp from underneath..

Rob you suggested yours was replaced without too much taking Part...
