Hi,

I am looking to renew the seal around the glass part of the sunroof. It's the rubber and a sort of suede[?] one.

Is it easier to remove the glass panel to do it? [6 torx screws], or is it possible in the tilt position?.

Also when doing it is it better to pre-heat or lubricate the rubber?.

Bmw part number 54137344553 looks similar.
As the l322 was born BMW in its day they share same parts to the x5 and others. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

Would be interested in a part number for the seal as well for my 2012 L322. in the (on-line) JLR parts catalog, there is indeed only one part shown and that's the glass (including the seal I assume). For the L320 (RR Sport, the seal is a separate part mumber (LR023393) but I have no idea if the sunroof of a L322 is identical to the L320.

I can't imagine this part not available separate.

I just saw a new glass sunroof will cost around €1000,- ☹️ . The rubber only has a minor hole and makes a bit of noise. Not going to spend that amount of money.....
