4.4 TDV8 2013 autobiography. Had the reduced power light on a while ago on the M25 but had the code cleared and only thing that was apparently stored was the usual P040D (00)

The guy I purchased the car from had a service done before I took the car and I noticed a slight leak from the diesel filter. I have since re fitted the filter although the big plastic screw retainer seems not to sit right. But the leak seems to have gone.

I thought this may have been the cause of the issue

UNTIL

Seems to drive fine until I had very light throttle for a period then when trying to input more throttle almost a misfire type feeling then accelerates ???
No Lights as yet and I have my own code reader now. On a side not has anyone got a preferred app on iPhone that may give can and lin bus messages or can check cn traffic on the bus ?
