Do the deployable ones stay out when the cars parked up, or go in when the car is locked and back out when unlocked. Or are they door related?

They disappear when locked up, so you lose the protection from wayward door opening from other cars.

Paranoid about it to be honest. Although it’s not used as a daily car so not so bad.

On my MY14 you can’t do it from the screen but from a switch, it’s a bit of a faff, so I tend not to bother. |

Are you possibly getting confused with the SVA ? This does sit 8mm lower. Tony
