I think the engine mounts are hydraulic so that's what the lines would be for. If they are firm and no movement then surely they are fine. I can't recall seeing a post on here about engine mounts failing in the 5 yrs I've been watching the forum but could have missed it. Don't think it's a common problem though. Have you tried tightening the bolts? And are you getting a lot of vibration through the car? When the mounts were shot on my 911 the passengers seat would be shaking at idle. Totally different car I know but same principle of engine not secure your get some vibration. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Thanks for the replies guys. When I took my car in the description of the problem I gave the suspension guy was tires wearing on the inside and a hard fide Omer bumps in the rear . Other than that it drives beautifully. I have ordered new rear shocks and Some bushes for the rear, front control arms and will get an alignment once fitted . I am just blown away by how unprofessional the shop I took it to are. Might ask them if they checked the muffler bearings if they get back to me with a quote.
