Hi,

I want to fit the LR wrap around bull bar and rear lamp guards to my 2011 car.

However, these are only available for vehicles up to 2009.

Does anyone know if these parts can be modified to fit a 2011 car with the latest front bumper and rear lights?

The rear lights are interchangeable with the older units physically, so I can’t see why those lamp guards wouldn’t fit.

The bull bar may be a different story. Someone with more knowledge of the differences due to the facelift should be along soon......

Just one point I can think of, if you have adaptive cruise the bull bar will probably stop it working...maybe..!! Pete

There was no bull bar or soft rubber bars for the 2000-on L3222s - these became ban by European standards a couple of years before that.
You'll have to modify you bar or bumper to install and fit it.

The rear light grills are fitted to the brackets holding the rear2002-2009 lights. However, from 2009-on the light clusters have a different clip-on system and can no longer receive the 2002-2009 rear guard.
Unlike the 2002-09 lights cluster, the newer ones do not have the cutouts to let the guards' metal bracket fit between the cluster and the bodywork.

You would have to modify the lights cluster' plastic edge and create brackets. So it is not impossible but a serious job. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I´m guessing the shape of the front bumper may have changed slightly after the 2010 facelift so the bullbar may not fit tight either. Even if the mounting is sorted?

I modified a soft bullbat to fit the top of a 2009> front bumper as i was intending to build a dedicated off-roader... I will take a pic when i get a moment

The rear light guards would cover the indicators on a 2009> Lamp if my memory serves me right???
