United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Makes sense

I do find it interesting how different people think in different ways though - I want to be able to tow, so would actively look for a car with a tow bar already fitted to avoid the hassle of fitting one, whereas others would actively look for one that hasn’t previously towed......

and living in France means the tow bar protects your car from clueless parking efforts by the French ...

lovely looking, lot of car for small money by the way! Good luck with it.

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Adriatic Blue

I robbed a towbar from a car that has been stored with me for the past year.
Taking my time to strip both cars and to rebuild both cars it took me no more than 4 hours.
Having now acquired a TDV8 I will be doing the same again.
The hardest part is removing the back exhaust box rubbers which on the donor car I cut, for simplicity.
As for towing, I took the HSE to Oldam from Ayr in Scotland, with the trailer empty and doing 60mph I got 21 mpg going down, fully laden coming back doing 55mph, bearing in mind I was towing 3.5 tonnes, I got 24.5 mpg. I have towed with many Land Rovers and carried many Land Rovers behind them and I can honestly say the HSE was impressive and can only think that the TDV8 will be even better with more power. Current cars
