Long beep means fault with PDC (either module or sensors/wiring)
bumpers off job to check wiring and looms
also open up the PDC module, to see what , if anything, lurks inside

Are you sure someone didn't just spill a cup of coffee there ? (carpet stain) .

This has been solved, thanks everybody who participated.

As suspected issue was with i-bus, turned out white/grey/yellow wire between instrument cluster & LCM itself was broken.

Happy it is solved. Unhappy that I've started to disassemble the car from the trunk. Well, at least gave her a good cleaning.

Wire inflection left to the blower motor (LH vehicle), human factor aka previous repairs, I've discovered considerable amount of glass chips while inside the center dash, most probably windscreen was broken & replaced at some point.
Thanks for your pics Pete, they've brought my relations with the car on a totally different level
