United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

In the race mini i use shell V power unleaded - it has the best resistance to det on the dyno

tesco 99 used once as it was part of a sponsor deal, was also good.

as for road cars: i use BP or shell 90% of the time and the Audi A4 B8 has 270K on it and still used daily upto 1k per week.
The AMG gets ultimate / V power every time as the knock sensor will retard the ignition if det detected - so im told ?
Engines like Aston Martin etc.. have individual knock sensors per cylinder and will only retard the knocking cylinder to allow the other 11 to run on the limit of det.

The RR gets filled with BP Diesel...
Old Dodge 1977 SBC V8 gets cheapest i can find at 10mpg!

if someone says what does Morrisons do best, id think of Pies
If someone says what do shell or BP do best id think fuel

so the difference is probably the quantity and quality of the additive to the base fuels
