Wheels and tyres advice

Hi all. Be grateful for your advice on a set of 22 inch wheels I'm thinking of buying and whether they will fit my L322 without any danger of rubbing. They have the following size:

22x9.5
Et30
5x120
74.1 Centre bore

Tyres are all 275 40 22, but was wondering if 285 40 22 or 285 35 22 tyres would fit.

Thanks guys

ET30 sounds way off

From my Limited knowledge, the L405 22” wheels are 22x9.5 ET49. The SVR L494 wheels are 10” wide with an offset of 42.5.

The L405 wheels fit the L322

I’m pretty sure that my 9.5J 22” are ET45. They run nice and even with the body work. Just right I would say. Naturally it depends a bit on the wheel design but I would think ET30 would appear to far out for the car and go beyond the wheel arches.

Thanks for the replies guys. These are the wheels I was looking at:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163927889553
Maybe I'll just look for a cheapish set of Overfinch alloys to come up for sale

Thanks Mark. That's a lovely set of wheels you've bought. I think I'll keep browsing for something more suitable

Shouldn’t be anything wrong in principle with aftermarket wheels if they are are made to certain standards.

Besides the normal load bearing suitability I do also tend to make certain they are TüV and JWL certified.

I’d be surprised if Manufacturers like Revere, Khan, Overfinch and Hawke to name a few aren’t up to the standards.

The problem with load ratings is when people fit wheels, branded or otherwise to RR's that were intended for cars.

Seemed to be quite an issue with VW T5's. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw. I had it twice with my Golf R official wheels. Just a pothole I went straight in Sad

Hi guys. Just by way of an update, I managed to buy a set of 22 inch overfinch olympus alloys off eBay. They are currently shod with 285/35/22 budget tyres, but I will 285/40/22 tyres will fit my 2005 vogue without any rubbing issues?
Thanks

2005 was a crossover year - check your nuts

Nuts need to match the wheel, so yours may be the earlier ones or later.

Thanks guys. I've got silver wheel nuts fitted at the moment, so fingers crossed they'll be ok for the new wheels.

Well I finally got the overfinch alloys fitted with 285/40/22 tyres. Any ideas what the right tyre pressures should be?
