Hi!

Hoping for some advice again please

I have a 54 plate 4.4 Vogue, with the DSP system. I have been messing around with the car trying to remedy a few issues, haven't managed to solve anything, but I have developed a new problem!

All the speakers on the right hand side do not work. I had the door card off for a central locking issue, so I thought I forgot to reconnect them. Unfortunately it wasn't that simple! I then noticed the rear door speaker isn't working, either.

The dash centre speaker and subwoofer in the boot are working

Short of splashing £200 on a DSP amp that might not fix it, I'm not really sure what to do

Any ideas?

Have you tried checking for DTCs/fault codes? Was doing that recently and cleared one relating to the speakers which seems to have resolved an issue with the lower passenger door speaker. If the amp had gone none of the speakers would work?

Try a battery disconnect/reset?

No I've not tried a fault code scan, but I do have one at home so I'll give it a go and see what happens

And yeah, I tried a hard reset on the car earlier but didn't seem to do anything!

Could well be a bad connection in the plugs / sockets on the top of the dsp, particularly the plug nearest the centre of the car.
I had similar problem and found it by wiggling the wiring harnesses above each plug to the extent I could switch the speakers on and off at will. I resolved it by simply cable tying the offending cable harness firmly in place and never had a property since.
