yes pull out connector slowly

Yes a good bright torch to see pins just pull connector straight out don't twist as if it is not lined up the pins twisting could break them!! then you would need a whole new shock absorber and we all know how expensive that can be i got mine cheap at £275? Shocked A Rangerover is for life not just for christmas

Checked connectors/pins front and rear and all seem present and correct. Just a case now of waiting for my mechanic to plug it in and see what comes up.
Still seems more than a coincidence that everything was fine still the intercooler hose split/restrictive performance.
Tried raising and lowevering suspension yesterday and everything worked fine.
Will keep you posted.

The suspension will raise and lower without problem with an AD fault. Check if your terrain features are disabled, these normally won't work if you have a fault with the Adaptive Dynamics system.
I totally agree with DrRob, get yourself a GAP IID Tool. I bought one when I got my old TD6 years ago and it's been an invaluable piece of kit, helped me diagnose problems, fix problems and also configure many features on the FF that the dealers would have charged a fortune to do. Now I have a 4.4 TDV8, I was able to transfer the IID to the new Fattie and it didn't cost me a penny. Thumbs Up

Update-.All been sorted, it was the wiring on top of the nearside front strut.

Eventually got it on the diagnostics and it said front left dampner solenoid. Got the wiring kit from my local LR dealership and a quick 5min fit.
Absolutely no sign of anything wrong with the one taken off but fault was cleared down and just done a 250 mile trip without issue.
Still can't get my head around why the fault developed immediately after the
car went into restricted performance following an intercooler hose split! Once again thanks for all your help.

Glad to hear it's all sorted. Thumbs Up
Don't worry, these FFRR machines are an absolute dream when they work/drive like they should...but like any classy lady, they can have you tearing your hair out/emptying your wallet when they decide to misbehave!!
