suspension

So, something always happens when I am away with work and the car is at home with wife. L405 SDV8 suspension is cycling or wobbling side to side when the car is static. I instructed the wife to try raising and lowering the suspension manually and the dynamic response light came on. LR Assist are en route. Any ideas of causes?

I would guess a leak somewhere and low fluid?

Presume you have lowered, switched off, locked, restarted etc?

Update. AA came out, apparently its a fault with the rear Anti Roll Bar control valve. The bar is essentially kicking in and out. looks like it'll need to go into the dealer. The AA guy has left, apparently he pushes a button and that notifies the dealer.

Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Chassis/steering - 7MH / Roll stability control 4.1U0001 - High-speed CAN bus. Error Message : Missing message.C1048 - Safety valve. Error Message : Component hanging open.Check for suspension fault, no lights on at test but vehicle rocking every so often, heck faults , shown above, erase faults and visually inspect rear active roll bar, nothing obvious, but vehicle still rocking with faults erased, have garage check over further.

Thank you, I'm thinking the valve block from anecdotal evidence but I will post updates.

Update- the car went into MD who tried to replicate the fault. Due to AA clearing it no fault codes were present. The fault has so far not come back.

Yes thanks, it drives well, no sign of that fault. Handbrake is now faulty but actuator being replaced tomorrow.
