Airbag warning light?

This has recently come on in my 2014 L405. It went off in the warm dry weather but now is back. I'm goign to get it sorted but anyone encountered this?

Yes. Wiring loom under passenger seat became damaged because I fold the back seats down regularly and the fronts move.
Seems to be a fairly frequent problem from what I have seen. 2008 Vogue Black - gone
2012 Vogue SE White - gone
2016 Autobiography Blue - gone
2019 Autobiography Grey - gone

Had mine come on recently - couldn't clear it with a fault reader, then it suddenly disappeared and hasn't come on again. 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ

Mine comes and goes too. Seems to be humidity related.

Happened on my 2014MY intermittently. It was looked at by the dealers twice but they couldn’t find the fault, so never fixed. Current MY2020

The workshop I sent my car to 'replaced a new connector for the air bag wiring.'

Thats what he told me and the warning light has not reappeared again. '01 1.8i Freelander. Grey/ grey

Happened twice on my 2016 MY. Dealer said known fault in the wiring loom in the driver’s side A pillar going to that airbag. Replaced under warranty and nothing since. I personally would get it checked as it could really be a safety critical bit which won’t fire off in an emergency situation. BUT don’t simply get the fault cleared otherwise it can’t be tracked down.

I had this on my car over two years, on and off intermittently.
They dealer replaced seat belt pretensioners, and seat connectors, the amber light still came on.
Finally they did some sort of software update, and all is working now.
So ask about software update at your dealer.

Ah yes one year of no airbag light after mod carried out.
Where they remove a bit of foam pulling on wiring loom in drivers seat base cushion.
Took car in the other day , as idling at lights and car ran rough for a couple of seconds , like it was going to stall.
Then restricted performance flashed on dash and amber engine light stayed on.
Left car overnight a dealers, they carried out tests no faults logged for the engine light.
However diagnostics faulted airbag light that had come on. But disappeared in front of techs.
Car handed back with no faults recorded.
So even they cant explain what was going on, I think its haunted !
