It depends if you have a dpf. I use that oil in mine with no issues, mine is older but same engine. Jon

The 3.6 is highly unlikely to have a DPF. Careful.

Did you mean a DPF? The 3.6 in the UK spec didn't get a DPF sir... Standard fit came along with the 4.4 TDV8 and yes that is 100% CRITICAL you use the correct oil in the 4.4 TDV8 |

My mistake as I was thinking of the 4.4v8td engine. Surprised that the 3.6 wasn't fitted with a dpf. Well spotted by the others: must get out more!

The 3.6 in certain market places was fitted with a DPF I believe... California springs to mind 👍 |

My 3.6 doesn't have DPF . I went on the Opie website which confirmed the vehicle details of my car and recommended C1 which I am using. I went for the Millers 30W5. Am perfectly happy with it if that helps you. John 2008 Stornoway Grey 3.6 Tdv8 Vogue - SOLD 2005 TD6 Java Black Vogue - Written off!! GAP iiD BT-Sold |
