Anyone know what this is for.

Would any of you caravan enthusiasts happen to know what this is by any chance.
It seems to be two caravan sockets back to back with a 3 position switch on the side. I seem to have acquired it some years ago but have no idea of it's purpose.

Pics with the covers open would be useful.

It looks like a 13 to 7 pin converter.

^ Both end sockets are conventional 7 pin, one white, one black.

I messaged a mate who's a commercial fitter. He believes it's simply a male to male adapter.

I suspect you plug both caravan cables into it and it then uses the caravan battery to power the caravan external lights or hazards in case you have a breakdown.

I had a home made version many years ago.

From a contribution on a camping caravanning site:

"The logic 1 is a 12v power supply/transformer, the CD200 would appear to be a mains distribution panel?

From experience, I would strongly recommend the logic 1 is binned, of little usable 12v output and prone to overheat easily, it's total rubbish. So I don't know about the CD200 but from what you say it sounds the same very poor quality"

He has been supported in his opinion. Confused John
