Picking up my first Rangie on Friday!

After an interminable search for a perfect spec car (AB; 4.4; light interior; HuD; ULEZ; towbar; sidesteps and under £35K) found one (ok so it has no sidesteps but how hard are those to fix?).

Picking it up on Friday - no test drive and I've never driven a FF more than a few hundred yards before so a little bit wary about the 2 hour drive back....my current ride is an X-trail.

Just hoping it all goes smoothly on the day!

Z.

Just remember the width of the vehicle! The wing mirror glass bill was testament to the first few weeks with mine.
Drove a Navara for years including all around Germany, not a scratch, Six weeks with a fatty and 2 new glass pieces needed for the nearside mirror. Hope all goes well Thumbs Up

That is a bit strange to me, I can't get over how small the Range Rover is whilst it looks so big. I mean it is only 5 cm wider than the Navara, that is only 2.5cm each side. And it is lower and shorter Wink

OP, no worries. It is an incredibly easy car to drive...Should have gotten the petrol though Razz

Both 2006 models, research shows RR is actually 104.5mm wider per side, but never mind, don't want the poor soul to get a false sense of security and scratch his new toy, thats all I was saying. Rolling Eyes
