Yes you are right. To me I can't tell the difference in Orkney, Corris or Stornaway but any grey one is nice. That's the ballpark price I have in mind, but seen some crazy prices and need a reality check.

I have seen several L322's in the £20k+ and also several L405's in the £25k bracket so the water is a bit muddy. Thanks for your opinion on a 12plate L322 prices, good to hear from someone not trying to sell me one. Smile

I'm in no rush as not going anywhere soon so happy to wait for the right one to come along with my spec and colour. I'll be keeping it until the government forces us off the road or I pop my cloggs, whichever comes first. Big Cry

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Don't forget the diesel is no good for the Ulez 2021 if that matters to you...

And another colour option. It took a while to find an Autobiography that wasn't black, not many in this colour, Ipanema Sand with Jet interior incl headlining...

So much easier to keep clean than my earlier Ivory interior... Thumbs Up Pete

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

We have a 2012 4.4 Autobiography in the family that my Dad bought new in 2012. It's got most options on it than the Rear Seat Entertainment and Reclining Back Seats. It's not quite made it onto 23k miles yet. It's never seen salt and lives in the garage until it's going to do a longer trip.

Dad's looked at L405's on several occasions and has said that the only thing he'd change it for now would be a LWB SVAutobiography but with everything that's going on in the world just now he doesn't see any point in changing it. I like driving the L322 and I've read a few people saying they've gone back from an L405 to an L322 to am reluctant to talk him into changing it in case he doesn't like the newer car as he'd never replace his with the same again.

Given the Gov seem to hate diesels now and you're doing 5k a year have you considered a supercharged?
Get one with the timing chain issue resolved (5.0l specific) and you should be good. Also spec wise all supercharged ones are top spec. 07 4.2 Supercharged

Ulez no problem, or the soon to be introduced congestion charge in Birmingham, as my other car is electric. Whistle

The thought of 15mpg would make me drive it like I was on an economy run or something. Financially it would probably make sense as the extra cost of fuel would more than offset the difference in cost of the supercharged ones for me. I just couldn't do it. Rolling Eyes

I have had my current Freelander for 8 years and only looking to swap it for a L332 because I've always wanted one. I understand the reluctance to change as better the devil... My Freelander has been 100% reliable and I know that the L332 won't be so as its a second car it doesn't really matter if it is not so reliable. I'm not getting any younger and its on the bucket list! Rolling Eyes

My Mum has a Freelander 2 i6 HSE they’ve had for 7 years and have the same dilemma with that. It’s never put a foot wrong and with the straight 6 petrol it’s a lovely car. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

They are from PowerfulUK, there are cross bars that fit on the rails, very good and no wind noise...

I got a 2011 at 100k miles in January, it’s a fabulous car, Vogue SE, I wanted the seats over the “Westminster” the online values are out of sink they are based on relatively simple algorithms and they are holding there value - maybe even a modest increase
