Aux heater (used) needed L322 2011

Looks like my aux heater unit packed in (we're currently looking at codes, code says aux heater water pump. I also BOUGHT a water pump from LR but apparently THAT's the wrong one, there appear to be three water pumps in the car. One for the engine one leading to the heater itself and a third one inside the heater and it seems THAT one is the one that packed in. Long story short. Does anyone have a source for a used cheap aux heater for a 2011 4.4 TDV8 L322? This is what the unit looks like.

Got this one from an earlier car but part number looks the same. Purchased second hand as fully working (3 month warrantee)
about a year ago but never got round to fitting it before I sold the car. Yours for a donation to the forum and the postage, if it's any good to you ? Thumbs Up

From what I understand of your post, your FBH is not working?
Fault code for aux heater water pump? (What is the exact fault code?)
You suspect it is a pump inside the unit itself?

I have a non functioning FBH with fault code aux heater water pump.
I thought it might the pump next to the 2 solenoids on passenger turret. Although mine appears to work.

Heaters

First of all thanks for the offer of the extra unit. I have had aol email problems (still do, actually), so I never got alerts for any of these comments having come in. In the meantime, the mechanic has sourced a unit so I will leave this for someone else who can use it. Thanks for your generous offer.

With regards to fault codes and all, I really am lost at sea. I have four workshops who could potentially work for me, one's a loser, the other one has been lying to me and still does, the third one is right next door and doesn't work with used part and the fourth one comes recommended and is the one currently working on it. I myself know f***all about any of this. Cause nobody really wants the full responsibility I end up sourcing parts, checking numbers, taking risks, making entirely uneducated guesses and hoping for the best. That's the status we're at right now.

And yes, we've assumed it was the second of three water pumps the car apparently has, it wasn't. The first IS working perfectly, so we are now assuming - I guess - it is the third one which is in the unit. We have sourced a used but complete new unit and I have really no idea if this will do it or not.

Keep you posted. 2011 L322 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

The water pump is not inside the fbh its Attached to the end of it. You can remove and replace them. Steve at Webasto repairs sold me a tested used pump for £65... he also repaired my circuit board fault for £50.

Most garages won’t know what to do with a webasto as they rarely come across them. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

Do you have a picture of the pump?

Would also be interested to know the original fault code.

The other common fault is the FBH fuel pump, this is located under the RR towards the fuel tank. Its quite simple to test if its working. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6
